Experimental Study on the Sulfuric Acid Corrosion Resistance of PHC Used for Pipe Pile and NSC Used in Engineering

In order to compare and investigate the sulfuric acid corrosion resistance of concrete for PHC pipe piles two kinds commonly used in engineering, accelerated tests were conducted on specimens with three different strength grades C30, C50, C80 a solution pH ≈ 0.85. The appearance was observed, changes mass loss percentage, depth, stress–stain curves under uniaxial compressive loading calculated obtained time. From comparison depth percentage C80, it found that higher grade concrete, more severe degree. shapes stress–strain basically same. As time prolonged, peak stress elastic modulus decreased. perspective long-term corrosion, had relatively smaller stronger loss. research results provide references durability design structures prediction concrete’s service life environment.
